WTG, Sarawak natives from Bakun join PKR

All these would have looked impossible and sounded impossible but correct, correct, correct. It's happening and at last look, momentum is definitly gaining as the clock ticks away to 916. There may be a slight delay of a day or two but what's a couple of days when we've already waited 51 years for Merdeka?

Malaysiakini reports that about 500 Orang Ulu mostly made up of Kayan and Keynah from four communities (Uma Apan, Junam, Sambop and Long Bagan)  in central Sarawak applied en masse to join PKR today.

Paul Raja, a well known Orang Ulu lawyer based in Bintulu said the communities hope that under Pakatan Government, the land that has been taken away from them will be returned and that they had given up hope on the Barisan Nasional coalition.

Meanwhile, Malaysiakini also reports that Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS), led by Dr James Masing, has reportedly demanded recognition at both state and federal levels.
