Malaysiakini : PR to springclean followed by general elections

Malaysiakini reports that Pakatan Rakyat will hold a general election if they come into power so as to dispel worries over its targeted takeover of the government might be undemocratic or unethical. They will clean up the electoral roll and put the Election Commission on a balanced footing in order to ensure a free and fair elections. This exercise will take between 6 months to a year.

Meanwhile, Malaysiakini also reports that 4 PKR leaders will fly to Taiwan tomorrow to meet some of the 49 BN MPs who are on a retreat which was organised in haste by the BBC.
