Badawi's craps - Malaysiakini

Flip-flopping lame duck Prime Minister Badawi said that in this holy month of Ramadan, Muslims must remember their religious obligations and not be carried away by talks on change of government to the extent of spreading false information. I wonder if this is what Islam Hadhari is all about - cakap tak serupa bikin!

Quoting him further;

"Our people are quick to be confused and shocked or to panic over a change in government. Leave all this aside and focus on matters that are beneficial instead of indulging in empty talk.

"Spreading lies will only create distraction, that after breaking your fast and performing the tarawih, you forget about taddarus (reciting the Quran) because you talk politics instead.

"We should use Ramadan to do more good to get blessings from Allah, and not be preoccupied with something that will not happen," 

Abdullah urged Muslims to show love, compassion and generosity to the less fortunate regardless of race, and be thrifty and avoid wastage in preparing for the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration.

What's all these? Badawi's craps? What do the detentions under ISA of Raja Botak Petra, Teresa Kok and Tan Hoon Cheng mean in this holy month of Ramadan? 

A clear case of goof-up, Tan Hoon Cheng was said to be detained for her safety. If we talk about lies, in regards to Teresa's detention, then Khir Toyo is answerable as the truths are readily available. This is a frame-up. Raja Botak Petra's case? It's simply he holds too many truths and UMNO is simply shitting in their pants. 

Well, Anwar wants to meet Badawi. Run, Badawi run!
