Ahmad Ismail's racist slur - Did Najib give a statement to the police?

I received an email with just one line that read: Ahmad Ismail's racist slur - Did Najib give a statement to the police?

Well, I definitely don't know if he did. It is common knowledge today that Najib was present when racist Ahmad Ismail uttered the racist slur.

Under such circumstances, I think that this is a job best suited for reporters to ask the police. Hence, I had just emailed to Malaysiakini Editor which read:

I understand that the police had called up witnesses earlier and their statements taken. In this report, the police said that they have wrapped up their probe and will submit their investigation papers to the Attorney-General's Chambers for further action, if any. My question is, since it was reported that Ahmad Ismail uttered those racial slurs in the presence of DPM Najib, was Najib called up by the police to give a statement? Perhaps Malaysiakini reporters can ask the police if they had recorded a statement from Najib.
